snowball

My latest aquisitions have included Limoncello liqueur (lemony) and Advocaat. Both of which i have been meaning to get for a while. the Limoncello i am yet to experiment with satisfactorily, but it is good with gin and tonic or even gin and sprite.

The Advocaat i bought for the sole purpose of making Snowballs, an alcoholic version of a lemonade spider and quite possibly one of my most favourite drinks.

although im not usually one for milky shit like baileys, Im very much in love.

Snowball

1/3 Advocaat

2/3 Sprite/lemonade

ice

Fairly simple.

but amazing.

Any help on the limoncello front would be most welcome.

I have the urge to buy some art.
I have nowhere to hang it, and it will most probably end up in my old bedroom at my parents house for quite some time.
It may in fact never be seen again.
But i want some.
I want something that i can hang up in my house and absolutly love.
I dont really want to go searching, but I want to find it by mistake and have the most amazing story behind it.

I also really need to practise, and i cant seem to find the motivation. Im hoping if i try to get an early night and get up tomorrow and actually go to my early class all will be well.

Microstoven!

an exciting mix of lightweight non stick oven/dishwasher/microwave/stove top/oven proof cookware!
Sounding very much like an add im sure.

Recently, we've been going to this cafe near uni called Animal Orchestra, where they create these amazing Baked Eggs. Naturally being the poor uni student type, I wanted to make them myself.
Enter the Microstoven!
We bought two to try out in these little gratin dish forms, but they come in every different type of cooking ware, including those moroccan tangine dishes.
And yes, I guess my unusually earnest love of cookware is a little unhealthy, but come on, tell me that your not genuinely excited by non stick light weight cookware that does everything! I know you all are a little hot under the collar.

Im yet to perfect these baked eggs though, and im starting to find that keeping the yolk moist may be an impossibility. once i've completed my quest i will post it.

Things that are lovely and inspiring right now are Hugo Wolf, Brahms, Kurt Weill and Hanns Eisler.
Things that are not are a University Library that contains the 2nd volume of a Collected Edition, without the 1st.

Also prepare to be excited by the Cabaret performance soon to be performed in the near future, which when I organise details, will pass on!
